Celebrate St. Luke's New Mural!! Join us for a very special dedication of the beautiful new mural that was painted by local Girl Scouts from Troop 640 for the enjoyment of all the Elders at St. Luke's Home. The dedication will take place on Sunday, November 20th, from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the back garden at St. Luke's Home.  The sky blue mural covers two walls in the back garden and features bright flowers, butterflies and dogs. Join us for light refreshments and help us say thank you to the Girl Scouts!  Parking is available behind St. Luke's on Lee Street. Join Us!!

  Halloween arrives early at St. Luke's with a very special celebration on Thursday, October 27, 2 pm "“ 3 pm at St. Luke's. The celebration will feature costumes, face-painting, lots of games and sweets for all! A very special guest, KXCI's Kidd Squid, will spin his music genius with Halloween-themed songs full of eerie sounds, haunting tunes and spooky, creepy music! Members of the Board of Visitors will add their own magic with lots of games, costumes and cake for all.  A perfect chance to get your scared on with a big jolt of holiday spirit!

  The Arizona State Legislature passed a new law in 2016 that doubles the tax credit donation for non-profits like St. Luke's that serve low income families. For 2016, a married couple can donate up to $800 and an individual can now donate up to $400 and receive the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. And, if you do not itemize, you can still participate. This donation can be made in addition to any contributions to a school or veteran's group.  In other words, you can now significantly expand your ability to designate where your tax money is spent. Contributions to St. Luke's in the Desert, Inc., can be received up until April 15, 2017, and still be claimed on your 2016 tax returns. Contact your tax advisor on how to file. St.…
